Synergistic Innovations: Focused on Growth

A subsidiary of the Power Innovations Group, Synergistic Innovations Sdn. Bhd. started operations in 1999 in Malaysia, to provide technology consultation and implementation services to the Trading & Distribution, Services, and Manufacturing sectors in the country.

The Power Innovations group of companies had its start in the business software applications and consulting business 12 years ago and has since grown significantly. The company has customers in all major industries in Malaysia.

Today a 20-staff strong company, Synergistic Innovations has grown more than two-fold from its start-up number of eight full-time consultants. Formed in 1999, the company entrusts that the decision to take on Navision has propelled the group to be the leader of enterprise solutions provider in Malaysia.

Each and every one of these resources are fully committed to supporting Navision Attain. Mr Yap Yen Sam, managing director of Synergistics Innovations, believes that being focused on a single product allows his company consultants to continually improve the level and quality of service to their clients.

Strong Support Key To Success

A part of the Navision Solution Centre network since September 1999, Synergistic Innovations has generated more than 1 million ringgit in revenue from sales of Navision Attain software licenses and upgrades alone.

Yap cites the following reasons for going with Navision Attain. Navision is one of the top ten software companies in the world in terms of market capitalisation, and commands considerable market presence.

Together with a strong Navision management team, proven world-class product, good technology strategy, and strong channel support from Navision's marketing teams, Yap saw a huge potential in offering a solution specifically engineered for use by mid-sized companies, in a country heavily populated by organizations with an average of 100 employees.

At present, Synergistic Innovations offers the Financial Management, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Manufacturing Navision Attain modules in its portfolio.

These four modules have proven most popular and successful with Synergistic's customers, which include Ernst & Young (Malaysia), QL Resources Bhd, ISS Servisystem Sdn Bhd, Crawford & Company Adjusters (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, and Cambodia's Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority.

Moving Ahead

Despite having completed a major recruitment exercise just six months ago, Yap is looking at increasing the company's resources within the next eight months. He is confident of Synergistic's continued success in the coming year with its continued focus on the Customer Relationship Management and Supply Chain Collaboration modules.

In addition, he looks forward to working closely with Navision to develop the market in Malaysia, and to develop dedicated business management modules to further enhance Synergistic's competitive edge in product functionality.
